Can you describe what a toned body looks like?
I tried too but I could not get to a conclusion.

A body that when you look in the mirror has some structure. No bones sticking out anywhere or visible and no Mr. Olympia look alikes (male or female.)
I'd say lean with some muscle definition. The bone thing I meant for bones you aren't supposed to see normally. Obviously your clavicle will always be seen... but other stuff like ribs, spine, knees, etc. are not!

A person with a toned body does not look like a body builder but it is evident their muscles are maintained by their ideal shape.
