Hi. A member of my family had the same operation last June and she still has the frozen feeling in her left foot and gets spasms in her back and legs. It is a common result of that operation and can take up to one and a half years to get better. Wading in the swimming pool helps her a lot, But do not to swim much as it puts pressure on the nerves.
Hope you feel better soon.

aww sorry to hear that, not sure but heat pads sometimes help with circulation i have a prolapsed disc have done for ten years will not have the operation due to complications, my right leg is almost useless due to nerve damage from the spine, but heat helps my leg with the cramps, and the tightness i feel in my foot, i dont know if it will work for you but good luck.
