No, its probably not enough calories in a day... and if you are getting enough calories, then you are eating too many at one meal. You need to spread your calorie intake throughout the day. 5 to 6 small meals is far better than 2 large ones.

Two low fat meals could be a lot of different things - so you really haven't provided enough information for one to know if it's a healthy diet or not. Also - you didn't say anything about exercise and that makes a difference in the number of calories/carbs/fat (whatever you're counting) you should consume.

The best thing to do is eat several small meals throughout the day. Each day you should be getting fiber/grain, fruits, veggies, dairy, protein and fat. Less than 1/3 of the calories should come from fat. It's also best to consume at least 48 ounces of water each day.

People in the western countries generally eat far too much protein, so don't worry, you'll get enough of that, or probably too much. Two healthy meals sounds okay, but don't you get hungry? You could eat the same amount but break it up into more smaller meals. It's better for your digestion. Also, psychologically it's better not to feel deprived, because it leads to binge eating if you start feeling you can't tolerate it any longer! You have to build habits which you can maintain for a lifetime.

What is your weight? What is your caloric intake? Do you exercise? Do you follow the food pyramid?
