You know you're truely in love when you care about someone besides yourself. Ask yourself. Would you be willing to give your life for this person? You have to understand the difference between emotion, and knowing. For example, 'love at first sight', is simply an emotion. Not 'true' love. True love is knowing the person, and commiting yourself completely. You know someone is right for you, if you don't get along 24/7. I know how wierd that sounds but it's true. If you never argue, never protest...It normally never works out. I hate people that break up after the first arguement, then try to make people feel sorry for them because they 'loved' them. No the didn't. If they really 'loved' each other they wouldn't have broken up because of a single arguement. If you are able to commit to this girl, easily, without thinking about any other girl, most likely she's right for you. Good luck. Hope things work out.

She compliments you. Her strengths are your weaknesses. You feel you are a better person now that she is in your life. Now you can't imagine how life would be without her in it. She gets along with your family and friends and respects them. She is concerned about your needs and feelings before her's. You can't just go on appearance alone, that's only the superficial aspect of it which is the first thing that wears off once a relationship starts. If you're not comfortable and content with being with each other it doesn't matter how cute she is you won't be happy in the end.
