This would depend completely on the wine and how it was stored after opening (ie. have you vacuum-sealed the bottle afterwards or not and where have you kept it?). However, regardless of the above details, only fortified wines are designed to remain in condition more than several hours after opening and so the rule of thumb is that if you have been to bed since you 'popped the cork,' it is probably too late for the wine.
That's not to say that you should down the dregs before tucking yourself in, but the bottle was most probably meant by the producer to be finished by the group that opened it.

I would say that depends on the quality of the red wine and how you handle the wine after you have served it. I have had success re-corking and refrigerating red wines that kept their flavor profile 3 days afterward, but I have also seen inexpensive Chiantis that were only re-corked that were good after 5 days with no refrigeration.
The big enemy for wine, once it has been opened, is oxygen. Using a pump to remove the air from the bottle, or filling the bottle with canned inert gas available from most wine shops is the best way to save the opened bottle. Even with using these methods, I would not count on more than two to three days after the wine was opened.
If worse comes to worse, you may still use the wine for cooking after its flavor has diminished, just make sure that you smell and taste it prior to use to avoid any surprises.

It stays good forever, the taste my change a little, but that's ok because the longer it sits the stronger the alcohol content becomes, probably not the best tasting red wine after sitting but it will surely get you a head change.

Depending on the wine, a couple of days.
It'll last longer if you put it in the fridge, and, there are opinions that state to freeze it until you want to drink it, then thaw and drink it. I've frozen part bottles and it was quite the same.

most red wines only for one or 2 days if left to exposed air. for 10 bucks you can get a really good vacuum sealer that will keep wine fresh tasting for up to 5 days after you've uncorked it.

Depends on whether you can reseal it or not. If you can, it can last quite a while under proper refrigertation. If not, a couple of days, tops, but the quality will be affected the longer it sits.
