Why can't anyone see what we're doing to the earth? I'm just 13 years old and I've created a fotolog about global warming.

PEOPLE, OPEN YOUR EYES!

I DISAGREE WITH ALL THOSE WHO SAY IT'S A SCAM.

Very nicely done. You have some real potential in the graphic arts arena.
You should, however, do some real research before tackling a scientific issue.
Global warming, as it has been presented to you..and indeed, to the world... does not exist. It is a scam and a power grab by the elitists.
Global warming and global cooling are a natural part of the climatic cycle that you already acknowledge. The junk science that you cite is partially true, but neglects to mention the overbearing amounts of carbon compounds released by volcanoes every day.
A single volcano can, and often does, release the equivalent amount of CO2 that all of humanity releases in a year.
If you can find a history book that has not been 'revised', you will find references to global cooling in the 1970's with dire predictions of a coming ice age, due in the 1990's; predictions in the great part done by the very same "scientists" who are nattering about global warming today.
The sun is the major factor in our global temperature cycle, and its effect is varied by the 23° tilt of earth's axis and the somewhat elliptical orbit.
Please, do not just swallow what your teachers are telling you. Yes, you must regurgitate their own words to pass the courses, but please please please learn to think for yourself.
Do your own research and make your own conclusions.
Again, nice job on the photoblog.

Although I admire your aggressiveness your approach that you know it all at 13, the belt I have on is older than that, needs some toning down. Keep thinking but think deeper and wider. There is no scientific proof for any of this. Read a good book on logic or an analysis of religion and you will realize that you can "prove" anything you want to if use selective facts and data. The true thinker realizes that the more knowledge you possess the less you "know". I would also suggest that you donate a lot of time to E=MC squared. Most people accept this as a "law" but most modern theorys say that it is a "law" only in certain situations!!

There is no statistical data proving that global warming is a direct result of human influence.

For all we know, global warming could be a completely natural ocurrence. The earth's temperature could gradually increase and decrease on some type of cycle.

There are plenty of good reasons to reduce air pollution without having to throw global warming into the mix.

Kudos to you for your efforts.

Reading the popular media can lead a person to conclude that "global warming" is:
o- either a hoax to promote business opportunities, politicians agenda and scientists grant money.....
OR
o- a problem related to overpopulation, industrialization and fossil fuels whose solution options lie in solar power, wind power, geothermal power and nuclear fusion....

However, the correct answer may be altogether different:

NASA has released never-before-seen images that show the sun's magnetic field is much more turbulent and dynamic than previously known. The international spacecraft Hinode, formerly known as Solar B, took the images. Hinode was launched Sept. 23 to study the sun's magnetic field and its explosive energy. National Aeronautics and Space Administration scientists said the spacecraft's uninterrupted high-resolution observations of the sun are expected to have an impact on solar physics comparable to the Hubble Space Telescope's impact on astronomy. "For the first time, we are now able to make out tiny granules of hot gas that rise and fall in the sun's magnetized atmosphere," said Dick Fisher, director of NASA's Heliophyics Division. "These images will open a new era of study on some of the sun's processes that effect Earth, astronauts, orbiting satellites and the solar system." Hinode is a collaborative mission led by
the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and includes the European Space Agency and Britain's Particle Physics Astronomy Research
Council. NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., managed the development of the Hinode's scientific instrumentation provided by industry and federal agencies.

>>> as regards alternative energy methods, I favor development of the technology for nuclear fusion using lunar Helium 3

We can all see, but we choose to wear blinders and drive the newest 350hp MDX or 550hp Ford FR500. Horsies would be fun to ride. But they would have to live in Canada 'cause this breadbasket is going dustbowl, again.
People are funny that way. The problems kill peoples then solutions are sought. That is backwards thinking but that is the way things are.
Eyes are wide open, we choose not to see what we cannot accept as rational. Takes a flood, hurricane or a tsunami in a rich city to get peoples attention.
Earth is not revolting, or overheating, it is a planet. That is what planets do. We are guests on this planet and are just realizing that there are way too many of us and way to little water and space, left.

Global Warming is only a small part of the problem my friend. It is a sign of the Apocolypse. God fortold of this coming and it cannot be stopped. However, God may choose to slow the process down if people will start loving one another and listening to His word more. Science was made by God and He and only He can change the future despite what Man tries to do to change it or stop it.

I know and people dont understand how bad the world is actually getting. Hurricanes are going to be much stronger, Storms in general, more people sick because of pollution. If we dont keep global warming from happening, what we call home now would probably not exist sooner than what you think

Arctic will soften and and clean water will unfold. it is going to stop the present and reason Ice Age. Water will upward thrust approximately 20 ft, killing people who did no longer save them selves. better storms will ensue by way of fact of warmer temp. by way of fact of tech/fossil fuels, we've virtually destroyed THE source of it. And years from now all of that's going to be destroyed, alongside with us. we've started it, yet we be waiting to end it. i think of until now we come across existence from different planets....Earth would be destroyed. Time ticking, humanity!!! ------to help stop IT, WE could COOPERATE. ......... you're splendid. We had a nasty existence as we talk by way of fact of pollutants and a nasty existence sooner or later by way of fact of world Warming. to stop it we could cooperate. preserve the ecosystem. help potential effectual machines. help possibilities. help anti-Fossil fuels. we could nevertheless stop IT!

Well, once you get a little older, you might will probably learn to look at propaganda somewhat more critically than you do today.
