It sounds like she is going to have her babies soon. They are pregnant for 58-66 days which would be equal to 9 weeks.
If she is indoors you need to make sure she has them in an area that is easy to clean. It is messy even though the mother cleans the mess up you still need to change any linenings you may have for her. If she has a dog bed it's best that she doesn't have them in it or you will most likely end up trashing her bed. Most dogs naturally know how to care for there babies but if its her first litter then she may be a little confused on what all to do for them. You just have to help her a bit if this is the case. Make sure she knows she needs to feed them when they cry and she keeps them clean. Good Luck!!!

YES IT IS A SIGN. You should keep a close eye on her for today and the next few days.
If she is panting alot and is off her food then that's another sign. Also if she is digging in an area then she is trying to make a den to have her pups in. You should confine her into one area that is free of drafts and is going to be easy for you to keep a close eye on her. Make it comfy for her.

Good Luck! :)

What are the signs that my pet is ready to give birth?

Symptoms of an impending birth are: mothers loss of appetite, restlessness and "nesting". Her body temperature will drop to about 99 degrees Fahrenheit.

You need to direct these questions to a vet. Alot of things can go wrong with dog pregnancy and birth and you would need to know what to look for. She might even have to have an emergency C-section or she and the pups could die.

Yes,it does sound like she is preparing for delivery. The best way to know is to start taking her temperature. It will drop to abot 99 just before birth. You didn't mention your dogs breed. You should call your vet for proper advice if this is your first litter.
