It depends how dark your hair is & what shade of blond you want it to come out. I would advise you to ask your hairdresser, as they may use different amounts on different people depending on their hair type.

All depends on how dark your hair is now.
Black to light brown- I would use Vol 40
Dark Blonde to light blonde- I would use vol 30
I used vol 30 on my hair(was dark blonde) In 40 mins its was really light blonde. Also if you are planning to use one of these kits and your hair is longer then shoulder length you will need two kits. I use the whole kit (like scrapping the sides of the bowl ) and my hair is shoulder length.

Use equal parts with 40 vol developer. Stay with the creme' lines because they are less damaging and leave it on the full time because you want the hair shaft to completely close before rinsing.
