I just saw someone write "Please stop writing Peace and Love after everything. It's not workingbecause it's making me very angry."
Nice.

I am not sure if I understand what you are saying, but I can tell you that I am a born again christian, and love the Lord with all my heart. In no way do I believe that Athiests are evil. Everybody can be evil, knowmatter who you are, or what you believe.
I do believe however, that God is, and that Jesus Christ is his son. I believe God sent his son into this world as a living sacrafice for our sins. It was then up to Jesus to choose to be a sacrafice. He chose to die for us,and now if anyone asks for forgiveness with a pure heart, he will be forgiven.
I believe there are two paths in this life....the wide path which leads to destruction, and a narrow path, the bible says many will enter the narrow path, but only a few will find him.
The wide path is the path of choosing evil and sin. It is choosing to live with a choice of sin, a lifestyle of sin. Sin is anything that goes against the word of God. Can be as little as an unpure thought to murder, and everything inbetween. The narrow path is the path towards the father. It is the path towards Jesus Christ. Few will enter it and serve God, yes they will sin, but they will choose to ask for forgivness with a pure heart and make all efforts not to practice that sin. Many will start out in the narrow path, yet all the time choosing to stay in sin, and doing nothing to change their lives. They will go to church, yet continue to live in hibitual sin at home and in their personal lives. They will not fully give their lives to God. Evil is anything that goes against the word of God (bible). Even people who say they are christians can be evil by how they choose to live. By basically trying to live both ways.
Athiests are people who just don't know God. Who have not experienced Gods awsome love. They have not felt his presence. If they have, but turned away from God, something must have happend in thier lives to make them harden their heart from God. Any lost person can say, "God if you are real, show me you are real." If a person says this and really wants God to show himself, not because they are rudly challenging him, but honestly asking this, he will reveal himself to them. It might not be that second or that day, but God will bring someone in their lives and use them to reveal himself, or could be through a dream, or a tv program. There are many ways God can show himself to a person. If one opens there heart, he will show himself. When he does...you will know. You will know in your heart. The way God shows himself to a person can be differnent than to another person. Regardless of the way he shows a you...you will know.

I love that word 'vitriol'. But it does abound in this section.
Most of the people here are passionate about their beliefs, and some are more eloquent than others for sure. Some are more effective than others in giving evidence of their philosophy, faith, and belief.
Having said that... what is your question?

there is always going to be a little anger and bitterness shared when one is insulted for what one believes....we are all flesh and bone and at times we all act like we have no control over our flesh...therefore we express our weakness....we are all guilty of it.....one doesn't need to be religious to be found guilty of this.....but that is called being alive and human and not perfect...thus our need for a Savior..Jesus Christ.....but I can say this, what I perceive as Holy and what you say is Holy is definitely two different things....crap isn't even close to being Holy.....have a good day!

I doubt that you have any idea what it takes to get to the "Pearly Gates" as you put it. Instead of slamming all Christians all the time, try objectively looking at why they believe the way they do.

And congratulations on trying to say the right thing in ENTIRELY the wrong way....
You fail at self-expression.
If you are going to mock the religious nutters for their hypocrisy then at least have the self-respect to attempt correct grammar and avoid unnecessarily vulgar language.

It's called grammar... You should look into it.
And yes, yes, we get it. Fundie Christians hate Athiests, Athiests hate Fundie Christians, it's a big hate-a-palooza, complete with disco ball. Could we get a new topic in here please?
