she stopped eating before so we bought her different dog food and she ate that fine, now shes got bored of this food! if i put the bowl near her she backs away and i cant leave the bowl down all day because my other little dog is greedy and she'd eat it!!! im worried shell lose weight.

hi after working in a kennels for 2 years i came across this alot its not somthing you should worrie about meany dogs especially small ones have low appitie just as long as she seems well and is drinking plenty then your dog is fine do not worrie about your dog loosing waight a dog will always eat when its hungry your dog is simply fussy im afraid but leave her with out food for a few days and when shes hungry she will eat Most food .
p.s its important you dont change her food to suite her i no its hard but trust me it will work also try to seperate your dogs at there feeding times hoped in helped gud luck

I had the same problem with my dog. I solved it by (per my vet) putting her food down in the morning for about thirty minutes if she did not eat it I would take it up and give it to her that night once again leaving it down for about 30 minutes. This helped her to learn her feeding times and also helped her to eat. Now as soon as you put her food in the bowl it is gone. Your dog will eat when it is hungry. Changing their food all the time is not healthy for her it can really upset her stomach. You might want to ask your vet if they recommend this action. They may want to run test to make sure there is not some other reason your dog is not eating.

Try the book "Its me or the dog", which was a tv program. It might be able to help you. One of my friends dogs would not eat dog food and eat cat food instead. He lived for a very long time and eat cat food all his life. When my dog was ill and went off her food my mum use to give her a bowl of tea with milk, not too warm. Anyway, hope that helps

My dog Bear used too do that & i figured out that his stomache had been upset (vet said) he had me make him some water gravy. It worked well. Try it. Take 2 Tbs. of flour & a couple cops of water & cook it on the stove,dont give him/her too much at 1 time may be too much. Good luck too & the pup.

i know that going to the vets cost a lot of money, but you need to take her there. it might not be that particular food it might be that every time she eats she might get an upset stomach. you really need to go get her checked out.

have you tried to give her some warm milk?it will help her so she's not feeling very hungry. And i think you must go to the vet.
