Find an accredited home schooling course there are good one's online we used ICS out of Scranton PA... they have a new name now http://www.thomsoneducationdirect.com/ we got a diploma that was accepted for work purposes. Then my son went on to ITT Technical school and will have his Bachelor's in Computer Science at the end of the year. My daughter is taking online courses with Cornell University. Once you have had some college nobody even looks at where you went to high school.

I suggest getting homeschooled, because I want to start babysitting myself and get a job to afford a car later on. I really enjoy it, because you can do schooling pretty much anywhere and start and stop at any time. I'm a sophomore and I say go for it 100%. If you want some social life, the school should let you join clubs or sports. I went to my high school my freshman year and half of sophomore. So from personal experience if you're able to go for half of freshman to get to know some people and homeschool the second half. Hope this helps.

I loved homeschooling. You need to ask yourself: Would I enjoy homeschooling? Would I be able to set aside enough time to get my studies done, even if I am working?
Many homeschooling organizations cost money (although there are a few free ones out there, depending on your state).
If you decide to homeschool, do it because you think you would enjoy it, not just so you can make money.

Get Homeschooling. There is nothing worse than handing your mind over to the gov't to be "educated". If I could do it all over again, I'd homeschool. Make sure you find a local group for support and communication those in your class.

High school is the hardest to homeschool unless your parents are college grads or work in decent level jobs.
High school is about GEOMENTRY, TRIG, CALCULUS, PHYISCS, ORGANIC, INORGAINC CHEMISTRY
Not easy subjects for anyone who hasn't taken them in the last 10 years.
OR doesn't use them on the job today.
If you mother or father is a scinetist or engineer, then YES you can homeschool.
If not and you are a college major and they don't have BA or MS degrees, at this point it's probably better if you stayed in school, especially if you do well with school and get Bs or As.
If not, then maybe homeschool might work.
It's good for SLOW students or students who don't understand ABSTRACTS, like ME!

I understand that you want to help your family financially...but your education at this time in your life has to take priority...if you want to home school I don't have a problem with that...we did and my son is in college in an engineering program...but if you are using it as a way to be able to work...I would frown on it...I am afraid your schooling would suffer....if you can be disciplined...school first and then work...then go for it...good luck.

Do yo truly understand what homeschooling is about? It's not there for you to make it more convenient for your to get a job when you should be in school. This is a decision for you and your parents. Do one of your parents plan to be home instructing you to make sure you are up to speed and learning what you should be?
