Never assume anything. But I have wondered if I was wrong what would god be like. I am sure more than I am sure about anything that none of the religious cults have it right. If there is a god I would think that this god is more of an intelligent energy and not man like. I don't think it would pass judgment on us but rather just help our energy pass through to the other side. More than likely though we die and that's it.

A higher power; Mother Nature, an alien (or whole race),
a being from another dimension which we cannot even begin to fathom, the way a germ interacts with us but has no real conscious idea of what we are.
But it surely isn't the way the bible, qur'an, or torah portrays it.
how can you trust books written by people who thought earthquakes, floods, droughts, and lightning were the "word of god"?
Believers don't think that nowadays, are they not true believers in god?

It's the supreme source of life and all there is in the universe. It's self existent and eternal. It was always there and will always be there. It didn't need to be created. It was the ultimate Creator. As the Author of Life and the Universe it is the sole source of all physical and moral law. God alone ultimately holds the universe together and provides us with the concept of right and wrong. That’s what God is.
