constitute being hateful, rude or intolerant?

Really, why lie for the sake of being "politically" correct. Isn't being politically correct just a new idea coined for the word "hypocrite"?

Giving an honest opinion of others religion only constitutes to being hateful, rude or intolerant if you are being hateful, rude or intolerant. You can give an honest opinion on my faith and i will be neither offended or insulted if the opinion comes from a factual and truthful place you are free to disagree with me and i you. But to say things that are clearly lies, misinterpretation's and propaganda if that's what your opinion consists of then of course be prepared to be accused of hate, intolerance and rudeness. I dont go around insulting others faiths whether i agree with them or not, why should anyone be aloud to say derogatory and hateful things about mine? No one is asking you to lie just have the correct facts first and i am certainly not one who goes in for all that political correctness rubbish. Whatever happened to manners and a common courtesy of respecting people beliefs?

A Muslim woman.

Religion is all about sentiments and these days people get touchy real fast. U may give your opinion, only if asked, and that too, my advise is u should be very very tactful or face the wrath of the multitude and be crucified. The pope has just narrowly escaped by tact and apology, Salman rushdie was also in trouble for a long time, don't add to the number.

Depends on the situation. If you are writing a book or giving a lecture, no. Scholarly pursuits scrutinize everything.

If you are responding to a query, it is not rude.

If you are offering your opinion to those that have not asked for it, it's rude. Opinions are neither honest nor dishonest and require no qualification.

Only a hypocrite would use the term "politically correct".

I believe that if you give an honest opinion with tact and watch how one words things , then no its not hateful, rude or intolerant..I am a Christian and such believe what I believe . As for the other religions , well that is not my goal . Jesus was tolerant of everyone and few were tolerant of him at the end..
As for being "Politically Correct " I have never understood that phrase and truthfully believe that its over rated and over used..Good question by the way :)

Its not being rude or hateful to give your opinion on other religions. You just have to be careful how you do it or no one will listen to you, my pastor says to "speak the truth in love". And yes I think that being PC is the same as hypocrite!!!

I'm not hateful when I expose the fallacy of false religions....

I'm simply telling the truth.

Why lie?

Honest opinion? What's that mean? If it's your opinion then it is not fact, so what's so honest about it?
