Lemon juice is very good for you. It's a great source of vitamin C, it lowers the GI (glycaemic index) content of your food and it's low in calories.
I don't know what you mean by 'the one you put on pancakes'. I cut open a lemon and squeeze it if I'm eating pancakes. Obviously, freshly squeezed lemon juice is best. If you are using some kind of shop-bought pre-squeezed lemon juice, just check the list of ingredients and try to choose one without too many additives and preservatives.
It's not the lemon juice you need to worry about, it's the shots themselves that will harm you if you drink too many. Or the sugar if you are adding that as well.

The acid in straight lemon juice will damage the enamel on your teeth. As long as you are not constantly sucking on lemons it should be okay especially if you drink some water to rinse the acid off your teeth.

Lemon juice will not hurt you, actually, it will whighten your teeth too, cut a wedge and bite it between your teeth. Leave it there for 10 min. do it once a week!

Combine the sugar, flour, salt and water in a heavy saucepan. Stir constantly over medium-high heat until mixture boils. Boil, stirring constantly and vigorously, for 1 minute. (A long-handled spoon to stir with really helps here to get you back from the heat.) Remove from heat.
