Depends on the insurance company you use. Some will continue to carrry you, but you'll pay an arm and a leg for a policy and might even have to enter a state sponsored high risk pool depending on where you live.

Call your agent or visit the company website for dd conditions.

No, it doesn't. But if you are charged with drink driving and found guilty, you most probably be banned from driving anyway. but when you are back on the road again, you can expect to pay reble the premium you paid before. In saying that you will find it difficult to get Insurance with a drink drive offence on your licence. Insurance companies would consider you a risk and have the right to refuse to offer you Insurance. It is on your licence for 10 years.

Depends on the policy of the company you are using. It can. It can also lead to the necessity of an SR 22 filing, and a much higher premium. Depending on where you live, it can follow you for 3 to 7 years. The courts also have the power to revoke your drivers license for a time.

No. Your liability insurance company will have to pay, if you were at fault.
In the US, most insurance companies have a clause in the contract that gives them the right to cancel the policy if you were at fault and were legally intoxicated.
Don't drink or use drugs and drive. It ends up costing you big bucks.

You would need to check with your insurance company but you will find that your next premium will go up that is if you have not been banned from driving by the courts.

In the UK your insurance company will cover any third party damage you cause ie: cars, property etc. but they will not pay out for damages to your own vehicle due to you driving whilst intoxicated.

It probably won't invalidate it (unless you are already on thin ice with your insurance company) but I would expect your premium to go up.
