Quadir and I have been dating for 11 months. I really care a lot about him and don't want to lose him. When he said the "L" word to me, I got up and went to the bathroom. Now he hounds me and is wondering when I am going to say it.

So maybe it means you don't love him (remember you went to the bathroom when he said the L word). You say you don't want to lose him? Well, maybe you just want him as a friend. After 11 months of dating you should know by now if you love him or not. Just be true to yourself and him. Don't leave him hanging in there when he should really be looking elsewhere.

If after 11 months he is feeling this way and you are not you need to tell him that. Otherwise you are just stringing him along and when you do finally get around to telling him you are seriously going to hurt him. It's okay not to feel this way but make sure that you tell him sooner than later.

I think you should be honest with him and tell him how you feel...what you just said here...that you care, don't want to lose him, but are not sure about saying the "L" word yet. See how it goes from there.

If you don't feel that you do love him, then don't say it to him, break it off and move on, 11 months is long enough to know if you know someone or not.

Tell him you do not feel the same way. You cannot force it to happen. His feelings for you most likely will not change. If you do not think you will ever love him, it's probably time to leave him.

i had a girl too who was cute, but for some reason i just wasnt feeling it. had to be honest with myself and her, so i broke it off.

If you don't love him, tell him...and if you don't love him, you shouldn't be with him.
You have to take care of yourself first before anyone, and defend yourself first.
