Hello, Man who sold the world:

I used to think so; in fact, I was self-confident and proud of my capabilities and achievements. I stereotyped religious people into weaselly-minded introverts who needed a God to help them through this complex society.

However, I challenged God that if He was there, to prove His existence to me and direct my studies.

Initially He directed me to His Word--I read 10 different translations--then into history. Yes, religions have devastated the world, but it was predicted in advance.

Take Mohammedanism, for example, there is a site: The Rise, Decline and Death of Islam in Bible Prophecy -- It explains why we are assaulted: www.revelado.org/islam.htm

Then Jesus warned about the Abomination of Desolation. Yes, they killed more people in the name of God than Islamists. That power was identified in the Bible, too. See for yourself when you unlock the code in the only part of the Bible that says you can not understand it until the "end-of-the-days" at: www.revelado.org/revealed.htm

Also, do not sell the world too cheap. It will ultimately be renewed when God re-creates Eden on this planet--also described at that site.

Blessings, and keep searching, One-Way

That is about the dumbest statement I have heard in a long time. I became a Christian after realizing I believed the Bible is true. My parents were still alive and we had a good relationship so I had no need of more parental figures or guidance. If you knew me you would not find me insecure, or withdrawn. People believe in God because they believe there is a God. People like me believed in evolution till I looked close at it and found that it requires a bigger leap of faith than believing in a God does.

About as much as attacking religion is a behavioral disorder brought on by a lack of parental care. Both concepts are stereotypical concepts that have no positive applications in real life. Peace
