Would you be more comfortable with jeans, t-shirt, burger and fries,

or dressed up, sit down dinner, maybe a show?

Personally, I think I'd like to start off with the more comfortable setting... do the more dressed up date a little later, or even for the second date.

Have fun! :-)

Personally I would prefer the t-shirt and jeans. However, I have found that each girl I dated was different when it came to the early stages...

Some ladies I went out with did not want to eat to much right away. Which I found stupid but whatever. Others were extremely laid back and wanted a burger and fries. Then there was the in betweeners. These girls liked a decent restaurant where they could still dress casual. My now fiance was in this category.

Places like Friday's, the Outback, Red Lobster are great for firstdates because they have a more up beat attitude about them. They tend to be less stuffy which could also be lead to awkward silience. Being that they are not dingy burger joints, this also helps show that you are not cheap.

my first date with my bf was just something that popped out our mind. we were walking downtown then agreed to have snacks at mcdonald's...and i treasured that moment and regarded it as our first date...so you see, your date need not be expensive or well-planned...what is important is you're together, do what you want and is comfortable to the both of you...it is something spontaneous..that way it won't be easily forgotten...if you're too dressed up, you can't move comfortably...in a dinner, you might always considerbeing prim and proper...but when you act like kids in jeans, shirts burgers and fries, everything under the sun could be talked about and done...

Casual first dates. You want to feel comfortable to bail if things go sour. If you dress up you may feel obligated to finish the date.

Smart casual, movie and then a bite to eat. Nothing to formal for a first date. You're just getting to know each other, right?
