Science is the devil's tool!--well, anything that allows shared opinions, free speech and an open forum is the devil's tool.

I don't think the Internet is a gift from Satan, nor is science, and I doubt that most theists think that either. As with everything else in this world, the Internet can be used for good or for evil; just because some choose to use it for evil does not make it so. God created sex and meant it as a good thing, so just because there are those who pervert it and make it an evil practice, that doesn't nullify its goodness. Same with the Internet (I know, God didn't create the Internet, but He allowed it to be created); people using it for evil does not nullify the good it can be used for.

LOL. To the Christian the internet is just another medium to get the Gospel of Jesus Christ out to the public. When radio came out, we used that. When television came out, we used that. Now there is the internet that gives us previously unseen potential to communicate to the whole world. You put up a website and you could have thousands of visitors from all across the world in just a few short hours. "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." -- Matthew 28:19 & 20 (NIV)
The internet is morally neutral. It's men who decide if they want to use it for evil or for good. It isn't a gift from Satan, or Al Gore (lol). It's just another tool. We are to be salt and light to the world. If we ignore the internet, it will be just a tool for spreading darkness, not light.
Finally, science doesn't scare us. What does scare us is when man misuses science to promote opinions and worldviews that stand in opposition to God's Word or uses science to step into realms that God has reserved only for Himself. Evangelicals oppose evolution because it stands in opposition of God as a Creator and it promotes an atheistic world view where man is reduced from made in the image and likeness of God to a more advanced monkey. Evangelicals oppose stem cell research and cloning because God has reserved the right to create and destroy human life for Himself. We don't want to tempt the wraith of God by "poking Him in the eye and stepping on His toes." Also, our love for Him as our Lord and Savior compel us to stand up for Him, honor His name, and let Him be known throughout the world.

The presence of Atheists here on the Internet as well as on the yahoo answers and questions is their right. However atheists should not interfere on asking questions and answering questions regarding society and culture as well as religion and spirituality because their comments are useless, so with their topics. They are only here to insult God above all and to insult Christianity and other religions in the whole world.Since they do not believe God. they should not bother to ask such nonsense.

Science doesn't scare me. I'm not a fundy either.
I'm merely a child of God (such as you) but I chose to recognize him, his son and am thankful for all the things
of life. Life is good, science is used for good. It's all good!
Why I wonder do you think we Christians would be afraid of science. It saves lives, puts people in jail that commit crimes etc.... Not all science is scarey, it is only scarey when certain folks get blinded by certain scientists trying to play God.
And... it's only scarey because they're wrong!

Nothing is satanic unless Satan connects with it and tempts you to use it in a sinful way. Is that what happened to you....?
