Depends on what track you are at a track like Darlington get tires, at Bristol or Richmond stay out. But if you are in the top 10 just do whatever the leader does. If you are the leader at Bristol stay out, leader at Darlington come in depends...

Depends on track surface, the speed of the track , and how well your car is running and how fresh your tires are....I think I would stay out though for the answer to your question

Can you make it on fuel? Have the other top 10 guys gone in? Who stayed out and how are their cars? Did any other team make, or try to make a deal with you when to pit? Is it a caution or green flag? Too many variables not mentioned to answer.

id stay on track, there is a phantom caution that's going to pop out on the next 5 - 10 laps, just in case id have my crew chief start telling me over the radio that we don't have the gas to make it to the end,

way too many contributing factors that you did not list. how many laps on the tires, are the other teams pitting, and don't forget the dreaded "debris" (read Hendricks) cautions.

rubbin is racin!

If I'm running 1st... I'd prolly stay out unless the 2nd place car behind me dove in. Now, If i'm running 2nd, or worse... I do what the leaders do. I wish race winners wouldn't be determined like this.. But it makes it real exciting don't it?!

depends on how many miles your tires have on them , which track you are running on and how your car is handling.
