The bible is rife with ignorance. Bats referred to as birds, the four corners of the earth, slavery regulated and not decried, women set as lower than men, etc.
Why didn't god just come out and give the truth? Isn't the bible full of instances where he directly spoke to prophets and imparted his will?
Would the Israelites have been completely unable to handle the horrifying truth that the world is round and bats are seperate from birds? Wouldn't it have been more of a testament to us today that the Hebrews were thousands of years ahead of their time scientifically and morally.... instead of being basically just like their neighbors except in which god they followed?
Or did god not care to think that far ahead?

Lol, hilarious! "get a life" "you think you're smart?"
it's always fun to see people who just can't debate a point.. so resort to personal attacks. Especially when they know absolutely not a thing about the person they're attacking :)
