Did you twist your ankle? Is it possibly sprained? It sounds like you need some better support for that leg/foot, but the only way to really know is to see yoor doctor. Best wishes.

this pain in your foot may be caused by a few things .
i suggest you wear your slippers around the house all the time for one . next go to a foot doctor as they do sell shoes and very good insoles that may help a great deal with your foot. custom orthotics are expensive but worth the money if needed. the insoles that they have that are not custom are very good as well and made in a great number of sizes so you end up with a proper fitting insole at least . better then the regular drug store kind.

You may need orthodics or better shoes. You could have fallen arches and need more support for the soles of your feet. You could try really good insoles from a sports store first to see if they help before you spend mega bucks for orthodics.

Time to see your Dr. This could be a sing of fallen arches or worse, sciatic nerve damage. At this point your Dr is your best bet. :) Don't wait to long and cause so much damage your Dr. cant help you. My friend has same problem they fitted him with inserts for his shoes, he was amazed at how much better he felt. And kicked himself for waiting so long to visit his Dr.
