I went to Greece as a tourist 2 years ago in May and it was a very nice country. Thessallonika is my favourite, where they have this great centre with all the cafes and bars by the sea. It was very similar to Izmir, i felt both like at home and at a foreign country. When people learnt that i was Turkish they really treated me very nice, they called me komşu (neighbour) which was amazing. Greek culture is very much like ours, and we also look like each other. I believe no other country can be more close to Turkey than Greece culturally. Politicians have to accept this truth. There's no need to fuss and fight about the past and current conflicts.
Also in business i dealed with some Greek people and i've been very happy with them. They've been true to their promises.
I'd love to go to Greece again.

I am greek..And I enter this site since november..If you ask people here what they think about us, or what we think about them, you ll get opinions..
But it would be better to avoid such kind of conversations, according to a past we have with Turkey, and in reality people from both sides are not responsible for this.Because people fight yes, but not because the want it.Some others the big forces force them to be in this situation..
In this site, the purpose is to bring people together and to fight for the peace..We really need it.Believe me, we are bothe the victims..When I see turks, and greeks and especially small children speaking bad about both countries, I really get sad...Because the simple people open their houses, open their herts and let the others in.
Believe me also that some trkish friends who came to Greece came with the fear, and when they returned back they spoke with the best words about us.The same happened to me, I was afraid of Turkey, but when I go, I cant carry the things they give me for my fasmily, gifts etc..
So, we are talking about individual relations yes..
About national relations lets dont talk about...Others decide...Not us....
