a few weeks ago i met someone off the net, who i was a little suspicious about, anyhow, up to now, it turns out that i was wrong, hes quite genuine.....BUT last night my ex appeared after 4 months ago, walking out the door, never to be seen again! he's claiming he loves me, wants me back, wants to try....im really confused, we had it good for a while but how can he care if he can walk out on me the way he did? can he change, make the effort?....all i have said to him is "prove it. Prove You love me, Prove you want me back." im happy with my new date but maybe better the devil you know???

Find out the reason why your ex walked out of your life 4 mths ago...
If its some crappy reason, u can forget abt him because he will do it again. You can't trust him as much as before anyway. Since you're happy with your new date why bother about this guy who chose to walk out of your life ? He has to pay a price for walking out - that is to lose you forever.

I wouldnt take him back...why did he go, where has he been. If he can walk out on you like that then he aint worth the time of day.
He left you for 4 months?!? Did he get bored? Is that why he came back.
I would tell him to get lost.

This depends on how old you are-how long you have been dating your ex- how reliable was your ex before he left-give him time to prove himself, if he does all is good- the decision then lies in you hands only you are the only one who can make the decision as you know more about these people than we do. listen to your good sense and what is best in the long term for yourself. good luck.If you are young take this lightly you have plenty time to experience life and relationships.

PROVE IT! perfect thing for you to have said. he needs to prove he loves you and wants your back. if your happy with how things are now and this new person is working out great. i wouldnt bother ruining this for a past thing. this ex of urs cud just end up hurting u again. ask urself if its worth it.

You are right, it is indeed complicated. Firstly, why did your ex leave in the first place..? I wouldnt take him back...you know now that tis guy left you without explanation..give the internet dude a fair chance..!

You can't let him back in your life so easily when he cared so little about you to leave in such a way! he needs to make one hell of an effort to win you back and i wouldn't take him if it were me in your situation! move on, you said it yourself, better the 'DEVIL' you know! perhaps the devil you don't, isn't.
