My Cat is 9 months old and she escaped for a few days and i founf her in an ermm very comprimising position with a tom cat. Since she was gone a few days i am assuming that wasnt the first time so what would i do to confirm if she was pregnant. Is there any tests the vet can do? What would i need if she was pregnant and would she be ok alone with her kittens in the first few days as i work full time?

you need to get a place where she can deliver, lots of old(clean) towls or rags, food for the mom and you might want to get latex golves in case u need to help with the delivery

I found that there isn't any pregnancy tests on the market for cats...maybe a vet can tell, but that would be expensive. Since they give birth in 9 weeks anyways, why don't you just wait and watch her stomach to see if it starts to swell soon. No doubt she is pregnant. A cat can mate with many males and have kittens by all of them.

Nature is wonderful, she will be fine with the kittens alone while you are at work. Make her a "nest" in a quiet dark place she can call her own or she will make one herself (usually in the middle of your bed). A LARGE box with bedding you can throw away after it's soiled. She might not go in it now, but she will later.

Oh what fun to see kittens born. It's amazing And instinct kicks in and she will know exactly what to do.

You can take your cat to the vet to be spayed if this just happened. If you would like to raise a kitten family, please make sure that you can provide the kittens with loving homes. If you mark the date that you saw your queen breed, then you count 63 days forward. This will provide you with a "due date." A cat's gestational period is 62-65 days approximately. When the time nears, please make sure that your cat is indoors, or has a safe place to deliver. The cat will start to nest and find a safe place to stay. When delivery is very near, she will start to seem nervous and will meow and most likely be more affectionate. Her body temp. will drop to 100 degrees or less when labor is within 24 hours. She will also lick her genitals and seem like she can't get comfortable.

I would go ahead and get her spayed if this happened recently.
