Good friendships to share memories and laugh about things someone who will always be there for you no matter what, someone who knows you inside and out, someone you can cry on their sholder. If you know someone like this, lean on them for a while, after all thats what friends are for!
There is no quick fix, the mending process starts and finishes with yourself, work at it and you'll come out the other end smiling! Have fun and cry as much as you need to, dont hold anything in - just let all the hurt out, good luck sweet heart.

time, lots of things that do not remind you of the person who broke your heart, good old fashioned chocolate can work wonders. avoid the booze as you could end up an alcoholic and no one likes a depressed drunk. Laughter works a treat in most cases of pain (natural endorphin release akin to morphine etc though not quite as potent as an injection of morphine for pain relief (speaking having had morphine following surgery on my back).
Talking it out with great friends and or strangers who may be able to help you come to realise you did nothing wrong. (well i'm pressuming here) so you can move on day by day getting back to your normal fun loving self as soon as you can.

the above in not everything but it is the top few things you can try.

if you like count me a new friend, and mail me if you want to talk about anything! my inbox is always open!

its really hard to bring the broken heart back together, it depends how your heart was broken, best medicine is new love and new life, which helps you to forget about the bad memory in the past, don’t worry about the past, think about the future, your life will not improve if you live in the past

Just remember why your not with him anymore bet your more confident now your not with him think guys make us less confident when we are with them well it happens to me i am more confident and happy with myself when im not in a relationship, get out clubbing and dance the night away kiss all the nice looking fellows, dont worry about him calling to see where you are and when you will be home just enjoy your freedom again it wont be long untill the next guy comes along and you will be in a realtionship again

Pampering yourself, holding your head up and getting on with enjoying your hobbies, friends that share your interests. Have you noticed that if you hurt yourself, your body heals itself naturally, well I think in time our feelings do too.
I hope that some time very soon, you'll meet someone who makes you so happy that you're very thankful that this sad relationship didn't work, perhaps it wasn't meant to, as better things may be out there.
