I think this can be done only by promoting cultures talk but not culture mixing ... and also this gap is due to that the Western world don't have sufficient knowledge about Muslims that allow the presence of a common language to talk in

I think the only way is what we are doing right now on the Internet of what you can call open minded talk ... listen to the other people , agreeing with some , and refusing others , but still talking .

Great question!
Ignorance of Islam is perpetuated by two things-
Apathy, people generally are not interested in spiritual matters irrespective of religion.Materialism is the new religion, despite its meaninglessness. This manifests itself in crime, intollerance, greed, selfishness and social decay.
Fear-Islam has been demonised by the Government and Media as a result of the attrocities committed by extremist Muslims, its a soft option, sells newspapers and draws attention away from other thorny locations like the attrocities in China,Northern Ireland,Zimbabwe, Rwanda and all the other inconvenient locations past and present.
So to try and answer the question ,how do we get round this ,is probably by portraying a less insulare society and projecting the message that Islam (like Christianity,Budhism,Judaism) has a basis preaching peace but within any ideology of millions there will always be a small minority of people who have no interest in the peacefull process. However the majority have no sympathy with the terrorist approach.
In popularist terms the material society has been a huge success, replacing the passion, faith, common wellbeing and peace of religeous teaching.Perhaps the solution is to take a leaf out of the book of mass marketing and broadcast the values of Islam to those relying on apathy and fear.

1 - Study Islam very well.. and remove the cultrul mix of stoning and female circumcison and this nonesense.

2- Show Tolerence.. Today it's very easy to be amputated by blasphemy if you discussed Islam with anyone. we must show tolrence, be more flexible and listen to the other's opinion.

3- Show good examples.. be polite, respectful as our prophet was.

4- Ban terrorism.. and discourage such practices of bombing planes and kidnapping the innocent.

5- Have a council that reflects the Ideas of the Quran.. We need a council to ban any terrorist action and help in making the world a better place.

6- Get rid of the Muslim totalinarian regimes.. as it injects terrible thoughts in the society, it also frustrates people and make them do illegic actions.

Neither are at conflict with one yet another, the West is purely attempting to maintain administration over the human beings interior the middle east long sufficient to get the materials they like...in view that the middle-East is Muslim majority the media demonizes them so as that the government can shop up the oppression without the terror of civil sickness. I say permit the Caliphate come, real sharia is equality to all, verify out Muslim Spain then tell me if sharia is oppressive.

I am a Muslim and a westerner and the values of Islam to me are not something i feel i have to communicate with the western world. What is it about Islam and its values that they cannot freely find out if they wanted to know? As a Muslim i dont talk about or force my religion on anyone. If i am asked a question about my faith or life as a Muslim of course it is my duty to give them the fullest most accurate answer i can. There are hundreds of millions of Muslims living in the west, born in the west, raised in the west and if they want to know the values of Islam they are free to ask. If someone wants to believe all the media rubbish they are free to do that also.

once that has been achieved (and it ain't gonna happen!) come to realise that allah is fictitious and suddenly realise what a waste of life in the name of islam it has all been.

There is a saying practice what your preach. Unfortunately this is not done by today's muslims.
Non-adherence to the teachings of our Prophet, lack of technology, literacy, leadership, tolerance, and unity we are unable to create a good impression.

By waking up to the fact that they are being led like puppets on a string with a thread of lies that goes all the way around the world and back and recognizing the fact that the god of this system of things has used them like you use your dish rag. Once he's through with them, which he almost is, he'll throw them aside like a used up rag and they won't know what hit them.
