At my company, piping engineers design piping systems (sizing, layout, etc.) for chemical plants, refineries, etc. They determine what sizes pipes must be, how they must be oriented and laid out within a plant, and so on.

and how to apply cost effective approaches while maintaining technical excellence.
Guidance in handling repairs and replacements of piping installed in different types of facilities and covered by various codes.
*OBJECTIVES:
To provide a clear understanding of the key aspects of piping systems including design, fabrication, construction, commissioning and troubleshooting, including the applicable codes and standards.
To provide practical and effective methods and guidelines to assist in achieving cost-effective new installations of high technical integrity as well as in troubleshooting and improving existing piping systems.
The objectives will be accomplished by a combination of learning activities including, but not limited to listening lecture, group discussions, problem solving, and sharing practical experiences with other participants.
