Don't keep staring at your PC for a long time. The brightness and contrast of the PC is much higher than normal for human eye. It is suggested that you take your eyes off the computer after every 15 to 20 mins for some 10-20 secs. This will solve your problem.

I was also facing this problem for past few months... got an eye check up.. Dr. suggested to wear an anti-glare glasses which are available with and without power.... i am wearing those without power and i only wear those when i sit in front of computer as its my job... u will get this glass at very nominal charges at any opticians... and do take breaks at regular intervals...

this means you have been staring at the screen for too long, keep blinking your eyes and focus on a faraway object. Install a stretch type program that will remind you to take a break every 20 mins of computer usage.

Have your eyes checked. Sounds like eye strain. Depending on the exact cause, glasses may be able to reduce the problem.

And yes - you need to take a break from the screen ever 15 minutes.
