If so is it only due to weightlifting and not other factors such as lack of nutrition, sleep, etc...

I'm trying to find the truth behind the controversial issue of stunted growth by weightlifting.

Weightlifting does not stunted growth in any way.

Although it does compact bones, therefore it can reduce hight, but not stop it.

I have been lifting weights since I was thirteen years old. Weightlifting does not stunt your growth.That rumor is a myth.

Only if you really overdo it can you see a minimal slowing of growth- so no- steroids could cause it though
