no st patrick and the leapocrans have ban snow to fall in ireland it is asin even if you mention the word and you will be banished from the country yes of course it snows any time of year it rain like every where else and has sunny days to best time to visit is during the day at night time people sleep . it depends where u go and why

It snows a little but not every year. Snow is rare in Dublin but the midlands and the wedt get some. September is a nice time to visit. Summer is warmer but very crowded especially in the cities and tourist sites.

it snows but not often and it would be more in the midlands that would get the heaviest snow. best time to visit is definately the summer(because it actually sometimes stops raining) take a trip to dublin the city does be buzzing in the summer months. Then go to cork or Galway to check out the scenery and all the different tours and activities you can do! enjoy

yes it snows around nov, dec, jan.
however, we very very rarely get thick snow that stays on the ground. usually it follows (or is quickly followed by) rain, ends up as sleet, not very nice.
i cant remember the last time we had a nice clean blanket of snow on the ground, it happened once or twice when i was a kid but for the last 6-7 years we have ended up with sleet / sludge. best time to visit is mid july to august, go to the south east coast, there are nice beaches around waterford / wexford and cork and the south coast.
i can say that its beautiful here but only when the weather is -very - nice (rarely). otherwise its usually overcast and breezy - which is why ill be leaving to live somewhere else as soon as possible. in short ireland good - july, august, september. otherwise not good.

Of course it snows here. But it rains mostly!! Thats why the countryside is lovley and green!! The summer months are promised to be very hot this year, so if you are planning to come here, i would recommend july or August. But you wouldn't really know here, because it can rain at any time. There won't be any snow now i'd say until winter time.

Hey, believe this. It was snowing here in Co Down last week and the temps each night were below zero. You can check this with the Met. people if you don't believe me. Thankfully it didn't last too long but it's not the first time I remember it snowed on Paddy's Day.

Not that often but if you do want snow you should go up North for winter. Summer is great too. Despite all the negative blab about Irish weather, Summer is usually great, sun, warmth, especially in the South try West Cork.

It rarely snows here. Nicest time to visit? Spring, I think. Not to many tourists.
