Diesel
Natural gas
Biomass
Hydrogen (fuel cells)
Nuclear fuels( enriched uranium, Thorium, Plutonium)
The coal is available for next 150 years and advanced technology is also there to get more efficiency. Biomass is the cheaper one. Hydrogen is the tomorrow's fuel and and it is much safer.
