No, sorry, you have to be deluded. There are a lot of mysterious things going on out there, but I can't believe this is one of them. And heck, I'll give just about any theory a good listening!
Or - if you mean impersonating human voices in the mind, it might just make a smidge of sense as demons or mental illness - though not the caustic stuff

I know what you mean. Those invisible creatures are everywhere. I had to give them up though because people were calling me crazy, and I did not want to have my new friends fire caustic substances at them! Just say no to drugs, and the invisible creatures will go away.

I was previously unaware of this, however I will keep a look out for them. BTW presumably they are visible when actually pretending to be human?
Are they invisible or visible when they fire this caustic substance at you?
