I would tell them. Might as well, whats the worst they can do, say no. But the bendfits of knowing what they think by far out weigh the consequence. Plus I find it that girls think its better that a man can express what he feels, well, much more than being scared of what they will say.

I assume that your question relates to some guy who appears to fancy you, but isn't coming out with it.
It's entirely likely that he's nervous about telling you. Look what he has to lose: if he*really* fancies you he'll be terrified that if he picks the wrong moment to blurt his feelings out it'll put you off. AND he may be worried that if he does confess all, it'll embarrass, irritate, repel or annoy you, and he'll never have another chance.
Don't be fooled even if he appears confident and self-possessed - he could be churning internally.
That said, it's normally easy to pick up signals about this from both parties. Are you sure you're making it plain that (I assume) you're open to his advances? Are you reading his own signals correctly?
And then again, maybe he's not feeling all that strongly about this, and prefers to see how it plays out by itself. If you want him, arrange if possible to find yourself alone with him somehow. It'll almost certainly move thing along.
And again: he might be completely uninterested. Anything's possible. If you still want him, getting alone with him could allow you to make *your* move.
And good luck.

I am a shy gut but in answer to your question, if I saw a girl I liked on a bus down the gym I would keep it to myself, if I knew her from friends or interests I would try to pick up the courage and tell her without hopefully making a fool of myself and being rejected.

I would never flat out tell her. That is corny, and would most likely make her run away.
Being mysterious works! Keep her guessing!

i'm confident and find it always pays to let them know. there are may ways to do this rather than just saying it, bit of flirting maybe. i find being a little cheeky works well for me.

It depends if we are looking for a long relationship or if we just want a bit of fun.

Treat em mean to keep them keen!...but then, i am God's gift to women so it probably only works for me and not other men!...especially after looking at the other blokes on here!...recon they should all shave their arses and learn how to walk backwards!
