I truly believe in fate. I think our lives are already mapped out for us......kind of creepy when you think about it.

Personally what I have found is that I do believe in fate
in hind sight, but I have also learned not to walk into things as
blind fate without question.
I felt fated to marry my ex husband which I feel 22 years later I am still paying the consequences for, BUT I did end up with four beautiful kids, BUT it was a nightmare and struggle raising them alone,
SO I also have learned to learn the lesson not to accept fate'
blindly in the future even though I do basically believe in fate,
Fate is basically the consequences of your choices

The Universe is a single, bloody huge chemical reaction series.
Though it is far too absurdly complex for any human mind to keep track of.... as with any chemical reaction, there is only one possible result to the particular pingings of sub-atomic particles involved.
It is only because the predetermined chemical processes at various levels led to it that we even thought of the concept of "free will" in the first place...... and it is simply a convenient cover-up for the fact that we are too small and too simplistic to ever be able to read into the workings of the grand reaction.
And yes.... it produces things.... it produces itself eventually. There was no creative consciousness involved though. The reaction made us; not the other way around.

I believe events are products of actions and circumstances. Of course, many of these circumstances are beyond our control, and we wonder why things had to be like that. Sometimes we can explain circumstances with our knowledge, like understanding how movements in the Earth's plates caused an earthquake. Other times there is no real explanation for our adverse circumstances; They are just accidents and coincidences that don't seem to happen for a reason. That's what we call fate.
Although I think certain things are selected for us by natural factors and are beyond our control, I don't believe in predetermination. The idea that everything that happens in our lives is planned for us beforehand doesn't make common sense. Our actions can be as powerful as our circumstances and more. Our lives are what we make them.

100%. One change in the street you take home from school can change your whole life. I went to Viet Nam 6 years ago ( if anyone told me I would ever go there in my lifetime I would tell them they were full of s..t) I have been there ever since. My life is better happier, and it was just one fork in the road. WHAT WAS IT "FATE". I think so !!!!!!!!!

I don't really believe that. I do think some things are predetermined for you, but not all, and that you can change your own fate.

Belief in fate is just as silly as belief in God.
To suggest fate exists denys any sort of choice in our actions.

I believe we create our own lives and being fatalistic is coming from the point of view of a victim - like life is something that happens to you rather than what you create.
