My petition has been approved under Eb3( Immigration to USA) .I do not know if I can be sure of getting a visa , after almost 3 year ( which I am going to have to wait for visa number !!! ) or no?

Now each of you have to be qualified to immigrate. You have to show enough income to support yourselves, you have to do a criminal check, if you have ever been in the US before, they have to review that to see if there were any violations. You are not done yet.

DHS only looks at the validity of the petition when it approves or denies it, not at the beneficiary because they don't have the beneficiary in front of them. A petition might be approved, but still the beneficiary might not be qualified for the visa, or might be ineligible for some reason. It is the interviewing consular officer who decides if the visa will be issued.
