he broke up with me two month ago from a two year relationship his reason was we grew apart, we agreed to ring each other last night and he kept ringing me but not saying anything, then he rang an was talking to me, we are hanging on saturday with a group of people mostly lads, there is a lad who fancies me an is always touching me i told my ex about it an my ex just went really quiet an i had to say his name to get him to talk this will be the first time we have hung together and he knows that the lad who fancies me will be flirting will this make him jealous another thing he still wears the ring i bought him, does he still like me please help

It sounds like he still likes you, but remember that is his problem. He broke up with you, so he needs to deal with the consequences. Go about your business as usual and don't let him interfere.

Of course he still likes you. The reason he broke up with you was not JUST; because he felt you two grew apart. The other reason, is that you two grew apart, and he broke up with you, so you can run back to his arms apologizing. He still wears the ring you gave him. Kind of like that movie with Vince Vaughn and Rachel (from friends). He was saying that, giving you EVERY opportunity to win him back, say the right thing, apologize, etc..., and apparantly that just flew right past. He is jealous of course, kind of like if you dumped him for emotional reasons, gave HIM the opportunity to admit he was wrong, and then HE found a new lady friend, instead. Sometimes people only look at something one way. But anyway, if you want to get back with your ex, I would apologize (I know it sounds rediculous because Carrie B. never had to apologize) but that´s what it is. If you are done with the ex, and want the new guy, there is nothing wrong with that either, seeing that you two are already apart. Good luck, just try not to hurt too many people. Love and Respect.
