I did at home day care with my first. My second passed away at 3 months old, I have been running from my life for the last 2 years. I got an office job, work with good people who are understandable about working moms, but...

I miss being home for my family, our home used to be more a central hub instead of a sleep and get it dirty spot. My daughter is now in Kindergarden, I feel I could get her involved in more activities with day time freedom, she bugs me about dance. I'm not too worried about losing the income, after the expenses I am robbed. I can keep plenty involved with the community and the school, so not worried about social issues.

Plus I miss having a baby around, I think I would like to go back to at home day care. I always loved kids, though about teaching, then about trying for neonatal intensive care nurse (changed my mind about that)

Any experiences or ideas? This is a tough one, I cannot change my mind once I quit. But I am close to it. A little nervous

i am so sorry for your loss.

for all the reasons u listed here, i see no reason not to quit your job and go back to being a homemaker.

When ur daughter is older u can go look for a job. being involved in the community will look good on your resume, so u don't have to worry about losing your credentials.

another thing u can get involved in is a group for parents who lost their children. or another program that will help children. this will help soothe u as u grieve for your baby. i have a neighbor who lost 2 sons to gang violence and she is deeply involved in the community to prevent violence and that is what soothes her.

Of path no longer. They can decline the mortgage in the event you stop earlier to ultimate. They can and can affirm employment inside an afternoon or so of ultimate. But what in the event you received fired? What if the organization closed? Would they take your condominium again? What in the event you had a child and made up our minds to stick residence? They do not fairly care in which the cash comes from as soon as the mortgage is closed, so long as you're making the repayments. The situation is the sales and debt ratio, and if his sales is sufficient to help the mortgage on his possess, that are supposed to be great.

I'd follow my heart. Children grow up quickly, so take advantage of the time you have with them. You can always go back to work part time or something when they get older especially if the income is not an issue.
