I have been practicising at my home by reading news papers loudly to my voice perfect.

Thats simple , first you must identify if U have what it takes:
It takes discipline, endurnaces and persistence.
1. Increase Ur words power, take up some GMAT or so.
2.Correct Ur pronunciation - look up online dictionary that pronounce it with sound and learn.
3. talk everyday - I mean everyday in english especialy on using Ur newly learned words and skills.
4. Practise Ur style or speech by immitating US slang or UK accent - one way is see relevent movies and mimic them -: my recommendation:- odd couples, as good as it gets, the practise and so
5.Talk with confidence untill the efforst U put becomes second nature to U.
hey all these worked for me - I'm in ireland and speak nothing less then what a caucasion would.
My mentor use to tell that if in Ur dream U speak english then thats a sign that Ur fluence

mingle with people there & notice their pronounciation, tounge movements.... or watch the tv programmes & news channels
This will enough for u to get their accent

if u want to improve ur accent get some tapes or wateva thst sre in US or UK people and try and copy them..
