Wow these people actually took that serious, when we would all like to be allergic if it causes more swelling?

It's neither new nor a crisis. A tiny percentage of people have always been allergic to latex - hardly surprising as it's a plant-derived substance and contains proteins.

Our immune systems are hair-trigger, and constantly on the lookout for invading organisms, especially by identifying proteins that don't belong. Sometimes they make errors of judgement, and react to something innocuous as if it's an attacking germ.

Latex allergies can be violent - even life-threatening. Sensitive individuals can use non-latex condoms - a doctor or Family Planning should be able to advise.

Severe swelling of the penis sounds like a good thing, not a bad thing!! I agree with you.
