Do you alll seriously believe that you could condone what he did?
Especially the women! I am appalled!

I'm sorry but a sob story about being provoked because she had another mans child is bull****!

With approx 3 women a week being murdered after suffering domestic abuse to stand and try to justify this mans behaviour is sickening!

As for sassymoo's comment about me being a heartless b**** or whatever it was, I think you need to go re-read what I said.

Men get dumped everyday.
Women treat men like crap everyday.
Most men wouldn't hit a woman and try to justify it with a lame excuse!
Men like this are animals and don't deserve ANY sympathy, no matter what has been done to them.

If he was that angry and upset why didn't he go and hit out at the other MAN?
I'll tell you why... he was too scarred!
Much easier to hit the girl, he knew she didn't stand much of a chance.

Men shouldn't hit women unless it's self defence end of story, It doesn't matter how angry they are

I am not advocating what she did at all.
It was malicious and spiteful.

BUT that didn't give him the right to hit her.
By all means, slander her name and let everyone know what she has done, but hitting her has just made him look like a complete w***** and makes other men believe that they have the right to hit their girls whenever they do something that they don't like.

How many men out there have beaten their girlfriends to death over similar situations?
You'd probably think that was awful and wrong, hitting her isn't far off, it was probably the first thing alot of those other men did before it ended up with the woman dead.

I think you're missing the point of a lot of the answers... she had LIED about him being the father - then allowed him to get close to the child before admitting he wasnt. No one is condoning the fact he hit her- yes its always wrong - but do you think its acceptable to lie about something like what she did lie about?
ANY person in his situation would have reacted in a negative way.
And coming from someone who HAS been on the receiving end of a guys fists - no its not right to hit a woman - but your comment on him going out to hit another guy is absolutely ridiculous! what would that have achieved?? Unnecessary violence for absolutely no reason.
The moral of the story here is that hitting a woman is never right - but lying about who a father is isnt either - the two negatives didnt make a right - but put yourself in his shoes - he just found out the baby wasnt his - I think that hurt more than a physical slap dont you?
