Current treatment for HIV revolves around antiviral drugs
The initial drug that was discovered to have utility in treating HIV was AZT (or Zidovudine)
Eventually other drugs were discovered and the current recommended treatment of HIV is with a cocktail of antiviral drugs called HAART: Highly Active AntiRetroviral Therapy
This treatment does not eliminate the virus from the patient's body, but prevents spread of the virus and replication of the virus within cells. It is a suppression therapy rather than a cure.

Well, I don't have H.I.V., and I've never known anyone who has, but from reading about it, I would assume the smartest thing to do would be to get to a doctor right away.
Aids is a disease that you can get treatment and drugs for no matter what your income is. The reason is because it is life threatening, like diabetes.

See a specialist if at all possible. As noted, there is no cure. Pills are prescribed and you will have to take them the rest of your life to help your immune system fight off infections and diseases.
It should be noted that not everyone can tolerate the pills. Some people literally can't tolerate them and throw up all the time. Other people find the pill schedule extremely demanding. It wouldn't be uncommon to take 20 pills a day at specified times.

wel medicine.. medicine.. and more medicine basically you would be living off of medicine for the rest of your life.
there are so many different pills and things to take that gives your body something back to help it fight the virus.. and on top of that your diet will be the next main thing you need to watch. food has to be taken and i mean the docs are strict about these things you have to basically watch wat you eat.. though you can occassionally get allowance for a peice of cake or something every now and then. but then ifs back to a full meal. i cant think now of what else is done other than that apart from regular check ups to the doc to see if you are improving and if there are any other things you need to do.
