you should ask someone that flat lined and came back to life did they see god or Jesus (i wonder why nobody every asked them)

My mom believes there is. There are two times that she actually died, but came back. The first was when she had me. She had to be given two blood transfusions to survive. She said that when she was fading, she felt peaceful, and then she had a vision of her brother (who had died many years before) standing outside a gate with another man (she thinks it was St Peter). It was very bright, and clear. She could FEEL that beyond that gate was God. His presence was overwhelming.
The second time she died (there was no heartbeat, and she was not breathing for about five minutes), she saw a vision of her parents, her brother, and that same man that she had thought was St Peter, standing outside the exact same gate, with the exact same light, and exactly the same presence beyond the gate.
Me? I'm not really sure. To be honest, I think it was simply her brain sending off messages, and the images were created from her subconscious.
But who knows. I have no idea what to expect. Either I'll die and there will be nothing (because atheists are right, and there is no God), or I'll be in heaven. I can only imagine what heaven is like.

Do you remember what God told Adam and Eve should they disobey? That they would die. How? Dust they were made from and to dust they would return. The Bible tells us that Adam became a living soul and that the soul that sins will die...
The dead are conscious of nothing at all and benefit from the sleep of the "just", (as death erases sins) until the promised resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous after the last battle which will end all battles, Armageddon.
Check definition of "resurrection" in your dictionary! And when you do awake from the dead in your perfect body, yes, there will be people there to welcome you to your new home, in which "righteousness" is to dwell. The former things will not even come to mind...

If you have lived such a life which warrants spirit guide or angel you will be guided accordingly. Mainly our deeds in this life decide the way and I have heard even incarnations of God lead their devotees through death. Have you heard about the death and resurrection of Walter cowan by Shri Sathya sai Baba at Madras, India. Walter Cowan himself has recorded his experiences and circulated it. nagarajan.

I will be dead. The electrochemical factory that is my brain will shut down. What I like to refer to as my personality and memories will shut down with it. There is nothing else.
