Guys, in general are not insensitive, just too emotionally stunted to realize what certain things mean to girls. To some men, women are nothing more than something to use for their own gratification, be it ego, money, or good old fashioned sex. And I'm not saying that men are the only ones who are like that. Women lie, cheat, and use men just as much as men use us. To call a man insensitive is like calling a brick wall, well, anything. It doesn't matter what you call it, it is what it is. Any man you find, may pretend to be something he's not, but eventually you see who he really is. There are sensitive men out there, but no matter how sensitive he is - he's still a man, and no amount of nagging, wishing, crying, or therapy is going to change his instinct to tune you out while the game's on, or act like a caveman pig while he's with his friends. They can't help it, but if it's a real communication problem, talk to him the way you would want to be talked to. It may not change anything, or it may change a little, but don't expect too much. Remember, he's still a man.

Short answer: no

Long answer: Try not to generalize. I know just as many insensitive women as I know insensitive men. Sometimes it's a simple character flaw and it can afflict either gender with equal severity.

Miscommunication is the product of two individuals. Women aren't always sending the correct signals, and men aren't always picking up the correct clues. Once both parties sort out how to communicate effectively to each other, the misunderstandings shall diminish.

Guys and girls are SO different in the way they think about things! I'm willing to bet that girls misunderstand guys a lot too, but guys just aren't as emotional about things. We should all make the extra effort to try and communicate what we're feeling and also to understand where the other person is coming from. It's not always easy, but it's good! :D

guys and girls are made differently, most of them are insensitive, some learn as they grow up. basically, guys and girls prioritise things different;y so they misunderstand girl's feelings.

an example: your mum has been eyeing a new watch for ages or keeps talking about the new handbag she wants for her birthday and your dad gets her a washing machine... she's bound to get angry.

guys normally think on the practical side and not get what girls want and girls are more emotionally inclined..

hope this helps.

It's not that most guy's are insensitive we tend to look at things differently. Women are more sensitive about certain things..... for instance you might cry about sad scene in a movie most guy's know it's just a movie. You just put a huge dent in the car we cry........We are sensitive just about different things......
