i am 18 and recently one of my mates from school came to pick me up to take me to a friends party and out of no-where he gave me a ring! first of all i hardly speak to him and until 2 years ago i hardly knew that he existed. my friends have joked in the past that he likes me but i thought it was only for a laugh. wat does it mean when a guy gives u a ring out of no-where?

ye well im struggling to draw the line between innocent and insane too but the thing that i cant stand about him is his drug addiction! he knows i hate it he knows my cousin died from an overdose yet he still does it in front of my face and supplies it to everyone. and after all that he tries to apologise

Wow, that's a little bit...overwhelming. I would definitely ask the giver of the ring. Maybe this guy is a) socially awkward/uninformed but sweet nonetheless, or b) a little bit insane/a stalker.
I would just talk to him about it. Get to know him so you can understand his intentions.
Um, but be careful...I hope he turns out to be an innocent, though misguided, sweetie. Be nice to him and give him a chance if this is the case. This might turn into a funny story to laugh over down the road!

Give him the ring back you obviously dont feel the same,i think it was a sweet and shy expression of a crush,if you dont think of him that way just hand it back PRIVATELY and say something along the line of " thankyou for thinking of me and giving me this ring, but I dont think it would be right to take it since I dont really know you or have those sorts of feelings for you. Please dont be mean about it.

It could be a friendship ring. My close friends and I had friendship rings. Either that or he just thought it would suit you. You should ask him about it.

IT MEANS HE LIKES YOU!! hey decide weather you could see your self with him if not then give back the ring, keeping it will only cause him to think you like him.

he probably likes you or just wants to show off... no guy's serious at that age, and he probably aren't able to support you and givce you a good marriage. return him the ring. what he did might be just to spite someone or prove someone's dare.
