Most of you are missing the point. I want to know what part of Jesus' teachings does Islam accept?

All those great replys but still no Muslam will speak out and tell me what part of Jesus fits into Islam! Perhaps He doesn't and the denial is the great sham of Mohammed who wished he could be holier than Jesus?

Pink is close but still never can say, without a doubt, "I believe in this teaching of Jesus". Remember, I said, be specific!

Gotcha Pink! I don't have to give you any quotes of Jesus. If you were to read Matthew, Mark, Luke or John of the Bible, you would have the words you crave. Of course, you wouldn't pay any attention because Mohammed said those words were corrupt. So was he. His life was corruption...and you follow like a typical human sheep.

Muhammad posed as an apostle of God. Yet his life is filled with lustfulness (12 marriages and sex with a child, slaves and concubines), rapes, warfare, conquests, and unmerciful butcheries. The infinitely good, just and all holy God simply cannot tolerate anything in the least unjust or sinful. What Muhammad produced in the Qur'an is simply a book of gibberish consisting of later evil verses abrogating (superseding) earlier peaceful verses. These verses in Arabic poetically "tickle" the ears of Arab listeners.
The immortal souls of billions of individuals are involved here. To good Muslims I say; "I have sympathy with your having to grow up in a closed society -- where not embracing Islam would have gotten you shunned or even killed". According to many interpretations of the Qur'an (aka: Koran), conversion to a faith other than Islam is punishable by death.
You can always know a false god.
False gods always demand the blood of innocents.
Whenever the innocent and just are being slain, there you will find Moloch the god Ba'al; always masquarading.
The god of Muslims is revealed as a tyrant who demands Muslims and all others submit to him. Whereas in the New Testament, Jesus revealed to Christians a God who is a loving Father, who wants us to come to Him via free will. In the Old Testament (Exodus 34:6) the real God revealed Himself as "merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth". He is the Creator of the Universe, the God of Love, and Lord of Life. The God of Israel is this true God. He insists "Thou shall not kill the innocent and just".
When a Muslim declares that Islam is a religion of peace, he/she is either ignorant of the Koran (Qur'an), or is deceitfully thinking of this "peace", as it extends only to those within the Muslim Community. The deceit is that they will not tell you exactly what they mean. According to the Qur'an: "Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah. Those who follow him are merciful to one another, but ruthless to unbelievers" Sura 48:29. "Kill the Mushrikun (unbelievers) wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in each and every ambush..." Sura 9:5. Also see Sura 9:29 Please note that there is not a single verse in the entire Christian Bible that contains this "open-ended", universal command to kill/or be ruthless to unbelievers.
Christians were warned against Islam by both Jesus and the Apostle Paul. Jesus warned us about the many false prophets who would follow Him (Matthew 16:11-12) . Paul warned us when he wrote:
“But even if we (or an angel from heaven) should preach a Gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be condemned to hell!” (Galatians 1:8).
Since Islam’s message differs fundamentally from the Gospel, it is clear what Paul taught regarding the fate of Muhammad and those who propagate Islam. Islam bypasses the sacrificial mediating work Jesus did for believers on the cross, thus negating the forgiveness of sins. This condemns non-believers to die in their sins. Jesus said; "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins." John 8:24
Jesus also predicted the current dilemma of Muslim intolerance and fanaticism. He warned that the day was likewise coming when religious zealots will kill Christians and think they are offering a service to God (John 16:2-4).

Okay. I had a long and involved discussion about this and other kinds of things with a devout Muslim. We discussed it on a message board and on e-mails, and in a chatroom.
There were times when he would quote the Bible, old or New Testament, it didn't matter as long as it said what he wanted it to. He would say that those particular verses stood out like a light in the darkness. I asked him why there wasn't then an Islamic Bible? Why couldn't Muslim scholars put one together so that we could all see 'the light?' I mean, since it was so clear to them.
But it's interesting, though they run rampant through the Bible, they have no such scholarly work!
To me, it's just another way they show their confusion. The are misguided by their teachers into a religion that cannot be trusted, while they say that Christianity cannot be trusted.
But as Jesus said:
Wisdom is proven right by her actions.

That's the problem. Muhammad decided to instruct Muslims that the Bible was corrupted and it's not to be believed. In other words, he subsituted the Qu'ran for the Bible.
There is nothing corrupt about the Bible, it is the Word of God, and always has been. The teachings of Jesus are the same today as they always have been. You're going to have your nutcases who distort the Gospels and try to make them fit into their agendas, but that in no way alters what Christ said whatsoever. His words ring true.

Salaam
His teachings are not denied but believed to have been misinterpreted and corrupted.
The gospel of loving God, your neighbour, respect, etc are not denied at all.
Islam calls Jesus(pbuh) The messiah, spirit from God, son of Mary, prophet and messenger. However, the direct "sonship" to God is denied becoz Jesus was only a man and was not a god. All his miracles was performed by God's will.
Hope this helps

There are more than 2,000 versions of bible in this world.
Seventh Day Adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses.
First Roman Catholic Bible was published at Rheims in 1582.
Second one published at Douay in 1609.
These called RCV version of Bible.
The Protestants regarded 7 books as ‘apocrypha’ (doubtful authority) and removed them from Bible. (The Book of Judith, The Book of Tobias, The Book of Baruch, The Buck of Esther, etc.)
Jesus pbuh said in the book of Revelation Chapter 22 Verse 18-19 ". . . If any man shall add to these things (or delete) God shall add unto him the plagues written in this Book."
On deleting 7 books from bible, the Catholics call ‘cult of Christianity’ to the Seventh Day Adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses.

Jesus peace be upon him was a prophet which Allah sent him to his people to teach them that god is one as he teach them the perfect way to live and serve the god ... and that's what we believe what came by Allah in qur'an and Mohamed (pbuh) the seal of prophets .
---
Allah says in the holy qur'an :
2/[136] Say ye: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Ibrahim, Isma'il, Ishaq, Ya'qub, and the Tribes, and that given to Musa and 'Isa, and that given to (all) Prophets from their Lord: we make no difference between one and another of them: and we bow to Allah
5/[157] That they said (in boast), "We killed Al-Masih 'Isa the son of Maryam, the Messenger of Allah"; but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not.
[158] Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.
5/[116] And behold! Allah will say: "O 'Isa the son of Maryam! didst thou say unto men, 'Worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah'?" He will say: "Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, Thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart, though I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden.
[117] "Never said I to them aught except what Thou didst command me to say, to wit, 'Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord'; and I was a witness over them whilst I dwelt amongst them; when thou didst take me up thou wast the Watcher over them, and Thou art a witness to all things.
----
any teachings of jesus (pbuh) that match with prophet mohamed (pbuh) , we will believe it and follow it becouse they are both prophets of the same god , becouse we afraid that some of it has been corrupted .
tell me his teachings then i'll tell you which teachings of it we believe :)
hope that's clear :)
peace.
Edit :
every prophet has been sent to his certain people and fit them , not even early Christians follow for example Ya'qub or Abraham ,because they have Jesus (does that means he was greater than them ) ? NO ,because All prophets have the same message . review verse [2/136] above :)
Edit 2 ;p :
i don't know all the teachings of Jesus , but I'm sure alot of them is exactly the same thing that we believe , like no cheating ,no stealing ,no killing,no adultery , love your enemies , help others , ..etc
Edit 3 :
mohamed (pbuh) didn't say those words were corrupt... god says that by him self that's why he sent Mohamed (pbuh) and qur'an (the word of god ) which god promise to save it and its never were corrupt .
Jesus(pbuh) was a GREAT prophet :) , his life was mentioned in qur'an and no conflict with it . the only one thing is we (don't )believe that he died in cross and he is not the son of the god :)
thank god that was clear :)... that's something doesn't happened to me usually :p
peace .
