I feel it explains that we need both fact and faith, one without the other would be a bleak existence
I heard a couple qoutes that run along the same lines, and I also sum up how I feel, are:
"Science explains how, Religion explains why."
and
" A little bit of science make one doubt God's existence; a large amount of science proves God is real." (Think along the lines of the vastness of the universe, and the complexity of the human body)

There are lots of scientists who can relate their scientific findings to God and also scientists who believe not in evolution but in creation!!

That it depends wholly on ones religious beliefs . For instance if you have none then there is no conflict . science is based on facts of our physical world . Every religion is on based belief. You could even break it down to say. A religious belief is a theory waiting to be proved true.

I guess for me it wasn't anything new. I hadn't sold myself into one side or the other. I do not believe that evolution is true, but I can't say that if it were, that it would disprove God. But you still have some people out there like that.
