what i need to is set up a home surveillance system on my pc. i need to be able to have 2 or more webcams going at a time. it also has to be able to do night vision(to watch our vechile) my husband and i own our on business that we operate at of our home and we just moved to a new place and not quit sure about it yet. So we need to be able to see the trucks. I also babysit and sometimes i allow the older children to take the younger ones out in the yard (it fenced in all the way) but i cant see in the back and in the front at the same time and i need to be able to

This is exactly that software what you were looking for. You can control more than one webcams simultaneously. I am not sure about the remote controllers, but this software definitely supports multi webcam capturing.
Just plug your webcams and this software automatically detects them and specifies a name. just browse the thumbnail view and you can preview the cam you want.
