Dorm? No. Barracks? Yes.

The rest depends on what training your are referring to.

Most "A" schools are pretty simple and will not require much time outside of the class instructions. Plenty of time after school for whatever activities you prefer.

Other schools may require more time outside of the school day.

Nuclear Power School will require most of your time.

School days are generally 8am to 4pm. Usually 1 hour for lunch.

Most Navy schools are equipment based, so you will have a mix of classroom instruction and hands on time. Some schools have shifts for watch-standing portions, so your day may not be 8 to 4.

Room inspections will be a daily occurrence, so you will have to spend some time cleaning up after yourself.

Uniform requirements and off-base privileges vary by command and the usual rank of the school attendees. At many of the "A" school commands, the structure is basically a continuation of boot camp. Most are required to remain in uniform and off-base privileges are seriously limited.

At the more senior level of schooling, if not in school, you are basically free to do whatever.
