that keeps looking to see if I am at my desk each time she enters the office. I am pretty sure about this because my desk is a little away from the aisle and she has to turn her head right to look towards my desk. Anyway, my question is, is it alright if I go to her and say 'Hi, My name is Krishna. How are you today? I have seen you around in the office, so I just came by to say hello and introduct myself'. Will she take offence? Any other better lines? One more thing. Every time I decide to go talk to her there's this strange feeling and I dont feel confident about it. But when I am driving back home or when she's not at her desk, I tell myself its pretty easy, no harm done, she wont bite me, but I just cant get myself to go talk to her. I must have missed some 10-15 opportunites when she was alone at her desk with no one near by. Why is that?

I guess if you want to just hit it. But I wouldn't do that because it would case alotta problems of you just hit it and not actually date her(you guys work together). It's only lust that your feeling about her. Just flirt with her occasionally and keep it moving.

It kinda sounds like she likes you as well, but, like you, she is too shy to do anything about it. What you've thought of saying to her, as you've written above, sounds great! It's friendly and you're being yourself. You don't want to use some crummy pick-up line; that's not going to get a girl =P
I know what you mean! It's so easy to just say, "That's it, I'm going to do it this time." And it really is easy when you think about it. Just go up and introduce yourself. Then the nervousness comes and you think you'll say something stupid or she'll think it's stupid. We've all been there. Maybe she is thinking the same thing, and that is why she hasn't come up to you before either. Meeting people and getting to know eachother is the hard part. Once you start getting to know the person, it'll be a lot easier to talk to them. Good luck =D

Ya gotta push pass the strange feeling b/c it's always going to be there when you're getting ready to talk to a woman you're attracted to. If you don't push pass it, you'll never talk to women you're interested in.
And when you do find the right time to talk to her, don't overstay your welcome (b/c you're both at work and you don't want to make her feel uncomfortable), but don't rush out of there either. And think of it like this, after the first conversation, the second one will be much easier. Good luck.

That sounds good. Be a friend first and don't try to get in her pants the first five seconds. She probably thinks you are hot and wants to do the same thing. Just go for it.

You can always try to ask her something office-related and impersonal...like "Do you know where the pencils are?" (hehe) and then maybe it won't be so hard if you want to talk to her again.

Take a giant step.. start small and improve your speech every day.. e.g
1st day - hello
2nd day - hello, how are you?
3rd day - hello, how are you? and give her your best smile
4th day - hello, how are you? you are looking good today!
5th day - hello, how are you? have you had your breakfast?
6th day - hello, how are you? I think, I am beginning to like you
Get the picture???

I do not believe there is anything wrong with introducing yourself.
Beyond that, it gets murky.
Good luck.
